Sydney Uni played host to the top of the ladder East Coast Eagles, the Students put in a great effort and at half time where only a few goals behind, the Eagles however where to strong in the end and took the fixture by 6 goals

I must admit i thought it was going to be the Demons day contrary to what a few others had said , UNSW definitely came to play and set the tone early for the entire game and took the win quite convincingly.

The game of the round, the tv game, the ‘Back to Baulko Day’ as it had been touted between East Coast Eagles and Pennant Hills was a very wet weathered affair. The Demons have struggled all season whereas the Eagles have soared, the Demons where out to revenge their first round loss in similar conditions 9 rounds prior, the game was close for the first half then the Eagles took control and took the win by 5 goals.

A wet smelly ground saw Sydney Uni defeat Balmain yesterday, we could only stay for 3 quarters in order to get to the East Coast Pennant Hills game but managed to get some great action in the wet weather, we also tried something new and shot from an elevated position which gave a different perspective on things.

A wet afternoon at Drummoyne Oval saw the Bombers defeat the Dockers in an exciting game of football, in what can only be described as a freak goal by Ben Attwood a mere 90 seconds from the buzzer to win the game by 4, Balmain played hard all afternoon with some accurate kicking but where pipped at the finish line, even their coach took to the field in the 4th quarter.

What can one say, prior to the game quite a few people believed this would be a tight match i dont think anyone expected the score line, the Eagles dominated from the middle of the 1st quarter and ran away with got very close to being a 200 point game.
