We are off to Melbourne this weekend to cover the Sydney AFL Rep Game vs. the Victorian Amateurs, the match will be played at Elsternwick Park on Sunday at 1.15pm.

With Ern Holmes Oval closed due to the wet weather Sunday at Henson Park hosted two Premier Division fixtures on the same day, the Bombers where coming off a strong win against Campbelltown the week before and where equal first on the leaderboard, the Demons came off a loss to the eagles the week before and where due for a win, they came out strong and held the bombers to just 5 goals.

Another change of venue saw Campbelltown against Sydney Uni at Henson Park, it was a cold Sunday lunch time and the students where just to strong for the Blues.

The wet weather in sydney played havoc with the Round 9 schedule and as a result 3 of the 5 grounds where closed and fixtures moved, UNSW played host on a soggy village green to the Magpies who whee coming off a strong win the week before against Wollongong and who where in equal first on the leader board, unfortunately for the home team they couldnt compete.

A wet and cold Saturday night saw the Lions venture to Sydney to play against the strong boys from the Western Suburbs, whilst the score board reflected an easy win, yet again the Lions put in a valiant effort.
